Press Release - March 2026
Woodcote Events has been named Automotive Event of the Year at the prestigious CN Agency Awards 2026, marking a major milestone not only for the business but for the motorcycle sector within the wider automotive industry.
The award, presented on Friday 20 March at The Brewery in London, recognises Woodcote Events’ delivery of the Ducati UK Roadshow 2025 - a nationwide experiential programme that reconnected riders with the brand through premium, hands-on test ride experiences.
In a category introduced just last year to celebrate sector-specific excellence, Woodcote Events makes history as the first motorcycle client-focused winner across the entire CN Agency Awards – marking a significant moment for an industry often overshadowed by the four-wheel automotive space.
For founders Gareth and Jo, the win represents a “double-whammy” – recognition not only from within the events industry but also within the specialist automotive sector they have intentionally carved out.
Gareth Bright, Co-Founder of Woodcote Events, said:
“We’re still slightly in disbelief. To go from an idea in 2021 to standing on that stage as winners is something we genuinely didn’t expect.
This isn’t just a win for us – it feels like a win for the motorcycle industry as a whole. Two wheels don’t always get the spotlight in automotive, so to see a motorcycle event recognised at this level is incredibly special.”
Founded in 2021, Woodcote Events has experienced rapid growth, building a reputation for delivering high-quality, detail-driven automotive experiences. The journey has not been without its challenges, with the business born during the pandemic and shaped by a series of early hurdles that ultimately led the founders to pivot into the events industry.
Despite being a small, Midlands-based agency, Woodcote Events is now delivering increasingly complex, large-scale events and competing alongside long-established agencies.
Jo Artherton-Bright, Co-Founder of Woodcote Events, said:
“It’s been an uphill journey to get here, so this recognition means a huge amount. We’re a small team, but we care deeply about the work we produce and the relationships we build.
Winning this award shows that you don’t have to be a big London agency to deliver exceptional events. It gives us real momentum as we continue to grow and push for even bigger opportunities.”
The Roadshow combined operational excellence with innovation, including a bespoke online booking platform, premium mobile showroom infrastructure and expert-led guided test rides, ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience at every location.
Judges praised the Roadshow for its “strong strategic alignment, operational excellence and clear commercial impact,” highlighting Woodcote Events’ deep category expertise and ability to deliver meaningful results for their client.
The CN Agency Awards 2026 brought together leading agencies from across the UK events industry, celebrating innovation, creativity and excellence. This year’s immersive, barn dance-themed event welcomed guests with live entertainment, networking experiences and a showcase of the industry’s best work.
For Woodcote Events, the win marks a defining moment – and a clear signal of intent. It also reflects a growing demand for sector-specific expertise within the events industry.
As the business continues to grow, its focus remains unchanged: delivering exceptional automotive experiences, building long-term client relationships, and proving that specialist expertise – wherever it’s based – can lead the way.
