Our Story

Why Woodcote Events was created

Directors Dan Linfoot and Gareth Bright became friends, having worked together on a series of motorcycle press rides, launches, and other racing projects.

Gareth has spent over 6 years creating press ride experiences for the world’s press to test ride new Triumph models in various countries, so they would hopefully write glowing reviews about the bikes. As Global Event Manager he selected some of the most renowned biking routes and roads in the world to take the press on, and the most stunning hotels for them to stay in.

To make it more memorable, he developed the concept of inviting well known personalities, from the world of motorcycling, to work as lead and tail riders, accompanying journalists on their test rides.

Dan and Gareth soon realised that these types of immersive ‘experience’ events weren’t readily available to the public. Although it is being done on 4 wheels, no one else seems to be offering it on 2 wheels, so they want to push the boundaries by offering premium motorcycle holidays and experiences.

They are both passionate about delivering tours, track experiences and working with corporate clients to provide world class events for all riding abilities, so that any motorcycle enthusiast can enjoy them. The added benefit is that Woodcote Events will organise everything, including transportation of client’s bikes, making it effortless and stress free for them.

Both Dan and Gareth have access to the crème de la crème of motorcycle personalities, to join you on your adventure, along with the right industry connections to curate and deliver a superior experience for you.
